About me

Who am I?

My name is Laura Toader and I am originally from Bucharest. I graduated in "Little Paris" with a degree in International Relations and European Studies. Inspired and motivated by my professors, Dr Vasile Puscas and Dr Viorica Moisuc, who are renowned International Relations scholars, I have accumulated solid knowledge in International Relations and I decided to move to the UK to complete my education.

I have recently graduated from De Montfort University, Leicester, where I completed my CIPR-recognised Masters in Public Relations (Merit). I am very passionate about research, social media, strategic planning, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and sustainability.

Why PR?

Studying International Relations helped me gain good knowledge of different elements that make up our complex world, such as: environmentalism, development and human rights in the context of global affairs. My studies have given me the ability to think critically, whilst teaching has developed my creativity, broadened my communication skills and sharpened my leadership attributes.

I believe that Public Relations is an industry where I can use my experience and my research and critical analysis skills.
